Positive Self-Talk Challenge

I first “met” Dawn when I saw her do a Facebook live with a mutual friend.  Her vibrant energy drew me in!  I followed that “nudge” and asked her to be a guest on my radio show.  After hearing her speak about WHY she bought Slimpressions.com (her shapewear company), I knew there was something very special about her.  Dawn has a heart of gold and truly cares about empowering girls & women to believe in  themselves.   She is also a professional photographer and the owner of SolacePath.com (marketing, graphics, websites, and business success coaching).  As you can tell from my website (and the photos and content in this program), she rocks!  I’m thrilled that I also get to count her as a new best friend.  I love her and I know you will too!

Our Positive Self Talk Challenge

Sometimes, we can be our own worst enemies.  We tell ourselves we’re not worthy enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, not thin enough, not beautiful enough …. not good enough.  We’d never talk to our friends this way.  Shoot, most of us would never talk to ANYONE this way … yet we allow that little voice inside our heads to feed us these lies.

So here’s the challenge.  For ONE WEEK, seven short days, shut down those negative thoughts by consciously replacing them with positive ones.

For the next week, your glass is half full, not half empty!  You are good enough!  You are beautiful inside and out!  You are smart, kind and important! (as we learned/saw in “The Help”).  The scale does not define you!  You are one of a kind – special and unique.  You are worthy!  Don’t quit the Positive Self Talk Challenge.  Keep at it and above all, feel free to share it with others!  We could all use some positive reinforcement, right?

Your 7 Day LoveWork

What is LoveWork? LoveWork is like homework, only better! LoveWork is learning how to be kind and loving towards yourself. Every thought we think and every word we speak is an affirmation so it’s important to speak to ourselves with love and kindness. 

For each of the 7 days, look in the mirror and repeat the affirmation. Repeat this several times through the day. Take some to reflect upon how feel when say these words. Makes notes in your journal. Continue each day until your 7 days are complete.

  • Day 1     I Love Myself 
  • Day 2     I Am Strong
  • Day 3     I Am Beautiful
  • Day 4     I Am Confident
  • Day 5     I Am Amazing
  • Day 6     I Accept Myself
  • Day 7     I Am Worthy
