Another yummy meal that comes together FAST! You can save even more time by cooking the rice in the morning.
1-2 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 ½ cup white or brown rice
3 cups water
1-2 TBS olive oil (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Mrs. Dash Onion and Herb Seasoning blend (or seasoning of your choice)
Cook rice according to package directions. Prep the rice in the morning to save time at dinner.
Brown the ground beef and onion in large frying pan over medium heat. Season with salt and pepper and Mrs. Dash to taste. Combine rice, onion, and burger in large pan and continue to cook until flavors combine. If rice starts to stick, add some olive oil to the pan. Serve as is or in a lettuce wrap. Done!
